From my mother’s heart to yours.
About Me.
Certified as a doula with the Australian Doula College and a certified Body Ready Method® Pro, I am passionate and committed to providing support through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester.
The opportunity to support and love on a family as they walk through pregnancy and birth is truly an honour that I do not take lightly. As a mother and now grandmother I truly understand the importance of connection; of meeting you where you are at and that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally ready for all that pregnancy, birth and beyond will bring.
The continuity of care that I provide will ensure that you, your partner, and those in your birth space feel safe and protected, that you are emotionally supported, and constantly encouraged. It is important that you are well informed of your options and that all your questions are answered with evidence-based research for our birth planning sessions and any variations that may come up.
As a certified BRM® Pro it is incredible to see the difference that creating balance and space in your body has for pregnancy and birth. Simple daily movements that focus on your individual body and compensation patterns will help baby find the optimal position for a more efficient and functional birth. Additional movement, positioning support and massage is also provided to facilitate a more easeful labour, birth and postpartum.
No pregnancy, birth or family is the same and I recognise that each is a new experience with their own set of values, needs, expectations, and individual requirements. I have had the opportunity to support mothers at home births and in hospital (private and public) with both early release and admission, during NICU and Special Care as well as Home Birth transfer, VBAC’s and inductions. Christian and non-Christian, those of different cultural and religious backgrounds (Brazil and Islanders), and those who have walked (and are walking) the IVF journey. Postpartum I am available to assist with breastfeeding support, light home duties and to be a listening ear as we debrief and share life with a newborn.
Every client has their own story with their own set of values and expectations, and it is so important that they are heard, validated, and supported.
As a Christian my greatest aspiration is to give love, strength, laughter, and kindness to all I meet. I believe with the right care and support women can have a truly beautiful and memorable journey into and through motherhood.
I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you in your birthing journey.
Hugs, Tracy x
